This policy explains what Point Diesel Services LLC collects about you, why we collect it, and what we will and will not do with it.
Effective August 28, 2026
Point Diesel Services LLC collects the information needed to service your vehicle and keep you informed about that service: your name, business name, mailing address, email address and mobile phone number; details about your unit such as make, model, year, VIN, plate and meter reading; and records of the work performed, parts used, estimates, invoices and payments.
We collect this information directly from you when you bring a unit to the shop or contact us. We do not buy customer lists and we do not collect information about you from data brokers.
We use your information to diagnose and repair your unit, to prepare estimates and invoices, to collect payment, to keep service history for your fleet, and to send you updates about the status of your own repair order by text message, WhatsApp and email.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not send marketing or promotional messages.
If you provide your mobile number, we may text you about the status of your repair order — that we received your unit, that an estimate is ready to approve, that repairs are in progress, and that your unit is ready for pickup. These are transactional messages about work you have brought to us.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties under any circumstances.
You can stop these messages at any time by replying STOP to any text we send. See our SMS Terms for the full details of the messaging program.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
We share information only with the service providers that make the shop run — for example the software that stores your repair records, the messaging provider that delivers our texts and emails, and our payment processor — and only to the extent they need it to provide that service on our behalf. They are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, such as in response to a subpoena or court order, or to protect our legal rights.
We keep repair records, estimates and invoices for as long as needed to serve your fleet and to meet our tax, warranty and legal obligations. You may ask us to delete information that we are not required to keep.
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can opt out of text messages by replying STOP, and you can opt out of emails by asking us directly.
Opting out of messages does not affect the service on your unit — we will simply reach you by phone instead.
Customer records are stored in access-controlled systems and are available only to shop staff who need them to do their work. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Our services are for commercial and personal vehicle owners. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above. Material changes will be communicated to active customers.
